Robinson Rifle Team Defeats Eldorado MCJROTC
In an undisputed contest, shooting their highest score this season, 2410.1 points, Robinson Rifle Team gets the win over Eldorado MCJROTC. Their fourth win in a row. Robinson Rifle Team was led by Emory Bullis who shot a 604.4. The remaining contributing members were Matthew Lin, Annika Cry, and Samuel Nickless. They are from Burke, VA, and are coached by James Miller.
Robinson Rifle Team competed in the Champions Division where they finish the regular season in seventh place. Within the Junior Rifle Club Conference they finish in fourth place. They finished the regular season with a 5 - 2 record.
Next up, Robinson Rifle Team will compete as the seventh seed in the post season Championship Tournament. They will compete against second seeded Sutter Union HS.

The league is a national team league for high school teams and junior rifle clubs. The league has two parts. An 8 week regular season going on now, followed by the post-season.
The Champions Division is reserved for the top teams in the country. The top eight teams from the Champions Division regular season will compete in a single elimination tournament for the league championships.
In each game the teams compete in what is known as a Standing Air Rifle match. The match is nearly identical to the air rifle events in the Olympic Games. Each athlete shoots 60 shots in the standing position, the most difficult position in rifle competitions. Scored in decimal, each shot is worth a maximum of 10.9 points. The sum of points scored in the 60 shots is the athlete's total. The team score is comprised of the best four athletes from each team.
