Ole Mill Rangers defeats Granbury MCJROTC
Ole Mill Rangers defeated Granbury MCJROTC and wins the Orion National Air Rifle League Precision Championship. In what was their closest game all season Ole Mill Rangers edge Grandbury MCJROTC by just two points, 1165 to 1163. Ole Mill Rangers finishes the season with a perfect 12 - 0 record, after winning the Junior Rifle Club Champions Division. They will also become the first team to go undefeated in the Orion National Air Rifle Precision League.
In the championship game Ole Mill Rangers was led by Molly McGhin who shot a 293. The remaining contributing members were Nate Peterson, Addy Burrow, and Dalton Stoves. Ole Mill Rangers is from Griffin, GA, and is coached by Lisa Kelly
The Most Valuable Player award goes to Molly McGhin. The MVP is the athlete, from the winning team, who had the highest post-season average. McGin represented Ole Mill Rangers in all three post-season games and average 294.0 in those games.
Grandbury MCJROTC finished the season with an impressive 9 - 2 record. In the championship game Granbury MCJROTC was led by Cody Bogle who shot a 294. The remaining contributing members were Kayla Hitshew, Freeman Hawker, Trinity Hathaway, and Katherine Lambert. Granbury MCJROTC is from Grandbury, TX, and is coached by LtCol Scott Casey.
